ReadyOne Website Redesign

ReadyOne Website Redesign

ReadyOne is an AbilityOne certified manufacturing company in El Paso, TX. Their diverse staff includes individuals with disabilities, veterans, and veterans with disabilities. They needed a website redesign that was ADA compliant, bilingual, and able to integrate their online store.

The website design consists of large imagery, text and resizes to fit any screen size. This makes the website accessible for those who only access the internet via their smartphone. Eye-catching animations draw users to various sections within the site. The LivingGuard section displays ReadyOne’s latest product details. From here, users can view specifications and FAQs for the product. Once customers are ready to order, they can click to purchase via the ReadyOne store.

The Products and Services section includes quick summaries on ReadyOne’s capabilities. Here, users can find out more information on manufacturing apparel and activewear, creating custom corrugated products, and outsourcing services for various industries.

Skip over to Job Openings to view all position requirements and openings. This section includes job listings provided by a third-party system. Before the website redesign, ReadyOne had to enter their job listings manually. Now, we’ve pulled in the job listings directly from the source saving their team valuable time.

ReadyOne Website Redesign Features

ADA Compliant

Seventy-five percent of ReadyOne’s staff is visually impaired or have other significant disabilities. This meant that their website redesign needed to be ADA compliant. From the very first sketch to the last line of code, the main ReadyOne website meets all requirements for WCAG 2.01/Level AA. Text and images are large and website images contain meta tags. For the visually impaired, this makes it easier for screen readers to translate what is on the page.

Bilingual

A majority of ReadyOne’s workforce is bilingual. This made it vital for the website redesign to include a duplicate of the ReadyOne website in Spanish. Users can easily flip between the two languages for custom translations – sorry Google Translate! Our proprietary content management system (CMS) allows ReadyOne staff to enter both languages easily.

Store Integration

ReadyOne initially had their store on on a third-party platform that didn’t provide all of the functionality they desired. Our team was able to come up with an affordable and easy solution. Through a combination of WordPress and WooCommerce with a Square payment gateway, we were able to meet all of their needs.

The store was migrated to WordPress and the WooCommerce plugin was installed. The design is clean and user-friendly, resizing to fit all devices. Users can purchase items through Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal. In addition, customers can pay in store or select a pick up option. The ReadyOne store also calculates shipping prices based on location, package dimension and weight. On the backend, the warehouse can easily process orders and ship them out. Reports are custom formatted to provide ReadyOne warehouse with any data they need.
