Front End Web Designer Web Services Department
Description: We are looking for an eager and skilled designer to join our hand-picked, best-of-the-best production team. The Front End Web Designer is responsible for assisting the Creative Manager in developing innovative solutions for clients and their customers.
Responsibilities:
The Front End Web Designer will work directly with the Creative Manager to develop design solutions for Web applications. He or she will work directly with developers from concept to launch. He or she will design the overall interface and graphic elements, and is responsible for maintaining design consistency throughout site content. Maintain and implement design standards, guidelines, and industry best practices.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of direct User Interface design experience
- Knowledge of color theory, composition and layout, and typography
- Experience in applying market research, usability and accessibility data, software technology and human factors to UI design processes and solutions
- Knowledge of UI design principles, user-centered design processes, and interaction design guidelines
- Knowledge of current visual design trends including their impact on software development and end user interaction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to provide rationale behind the design decisions
- Attention to detail
- Able to collaborate in a team environment to deliver high-quality designs that meet client goals and deadlines.
- Ability to manage and work on a variety of projects
- A good eye for choosing stock photography
- Working knowledge of web standards (XHTML and CSS2 table-less design)
- Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and/or Flash
- SEO/SEM experience
- Ability to read/edit/enhance PHP code
- You must submit a portfolio of original Web design work
