Objective:

Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center of El Paso joined three of the best cosmetic surgeons in the Southwest into one practice, but also merged two websites into one online presence  The doctors requested that the website be professional, easy-to-use and contain extensive resources to educate perspective patients on the available procedures and each doctors’ vast experience.

Challenges:

Often, it is more difficult to build a new website when one already exists, than to start from scratch. In this case, there were two existing websites, each with existing user behavior and expectations. It was important to simplify both sites and create a more "patient-centric", streamlined design for users to navigate in several different ways.

Solution:

Stanton Street preformed a thorough investigation of the features of the two existing sites, and discovery of the priorities for the new website. We then considered the types of users who would be looking for information on the new website. A sitemap was created to include three types, one with no knowledge of plastic surgery, one with some knowledge and someone familiar with one of the three doctors. The new website gives users access to the procedure descriptions, before/after photos and testimonials by body part, by procedure name or by the doctor experienced in the procedure. The ability to navigate through the site in multiple ways captures each user at the precise moment they decide to find out more. A Consultation Request Form is one click away from every page on the website.

Results:

Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center of El Paso rolled out their new website simultaneously with the opening of their new office and surgical center. They merge not only their practices and websites, but created an overall cohesive image. The vast amount of readily available information on the website through multiple paths, coupled with the easily accessible Consultation Request Form have increased patient inquiries and ultimately the number of procedures performed.
